Talent Biography

Danny Becker, is currently captivating audiences as Amos Hart in the European tour of the Broadway sensation Chicago. With an impressive track record and an undeniable stage presence, Becker is a West End star on the rise, celebrated for his versatility and dynamic performances.

Danny's talent was recently showcased in the Original London Cast of Stephen Schwartz’s The Prince of Egypt, a role that not only enchanted audiences but also contributed to the Grammy-nominated album and Universal Pictures feature film that garnered global acclaim. His portrayal of the charismatic lead in Disney’s Aladdin—opposite pop sensation Jade Euan and acclaimed star Trever Dion Nicholas—further cemented his place in the pantheon of West End greats. Becker continued his relationship with Disney Theatricals in West End production of Disney’s Frozen, he shared the stage with international theatre icon Samantha Barks, while his performance in The Light in the Piazza at the illustrious Royal Festival Hall highlighted his exceptional range. Becker’s talents transcended the Atlantic in 2019, where he debuted in The Light in the Piazza with Los Angeles Opera, alongside opera legend Renée Fleming, Dove Cameron, and Tony Award-winner Brian Stokes Mitchell.

Becker’s other lead roles include his dynamic portrayal of Don Lockwood in Singin’ in the Rain at Gaiety Theatre, and Charlie Price in Kinky Boots at Storyhouse. Becker’s portrayal of Jamie in The Last Five Years at The Other Palace, and Ralph Rackstraw in the all-male HMS Pinafore tour, added to his reputation as a versatile performer and was described as ‘golden voiced’ by the Sunday Express.

Becker's contributions to the arts extend to numerous prestigious concerts globally, includes a tour of China and Monte-Carlo with The Twelve Tenors. As a soloist on BBC Radio 2’s Friday Night Is Music Night at Mermaid Theatre, and as a featured artist in episodes 6-10 of The Theatre Channel. Including appearances at the Olivier Awards, Concert by Candlelight, West End Live, and Roles We’ll Never Play at West End’s Lyric Theatre and Vaudeville Theatre. Becker was also selected to perform at the opening of The Londoner Hotel in Macao, China.

On television and film, Becker has also made notable appearances, including performances on All Star Musicals and Dancing On Ice (ITV), as well as roles in the acclaimed films Rocketman and The Theory of Everything. With a career that continues to ascend and an array of roles that showcase his extraordinary talent, he remains a thrilling presence in the world of theatre.
