Talent Biography

A South Jersey native, Joe Matarese started his standup career at age 19, performing everywhere and anywhere in the Philadelphia area. He made his move to NYC where Joe became a weekend regular at the top NYC comedy clubs, performing multiple sets a night, 7 days a week, honing his uniquely honest, personal and self-deprecating standup style. He soon performed on all the big network TV shows, and landed multiple deals to develop his standup act into his very own sitcom.

Joe’s TV appearances include The Late Show with David Letterman, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and Craig Kilborn, Comedy Central Presents Joe Matarese (his own 1/2 Hour Special), and Chelsea Lately. Joe was also featured on America’s Got Talent on NBC, where he received a standing ovation from all four celebrity judges. Joe has also been a guest on popular radio shows and podcasts including The Howard Stern Show, WTF with Marc Maron, The Adam Corolla Show.

Joe has 4 One Hour Comedy Specials to his name, Medicated, The Poster's Wrong, Mullets and Mixtapes, and Almost Sold Out. They are now all available to watch for free on Joe's YouTube channel. Don't miss Joe live at one of his upcoming shows. His act is always changing along with his life!

Mullets And Mixtapes Bio:

Don’t miss comedian Joe Matarese’s nostalgic standup show called Mullets and Mixtapes. This show is all about growing up in the 80’s vs today’s disconnected staring at phones and computers all day and night generation that coincidentally Joe has 2 kids growing up in.
