Talent Biography

International tribute artiste, Steve Hollington, is one of the few Elton tribute acts in the WORLD that plays live grand piano throughout the entire show! From solo to full band from ballads to bouncing rock & roll, Steve recreates the full range of Elton John’s outstanding repertoire, all designed to delight all audiences. The distinctive sound and visual experience Steve achieves as he pays homage to the great Sir Elton, provides a perfect and most importantly of all, fun tribute show that is guaranteed to entertain audiences all around the world.

Steve began his career early as a musician performing in a variety of bands and shows, which included his first taste of cruising - performing in the big band on board the iconic QE2. In his early-30’s he switched careers in order to raise a family and spend more time at home, so for the next 2 decades he was a high school teacher/head of faculty.

Steve decided to come full circle and return to cruising the world - this time as a solo artiste, paying tribute to one of the world’s great musical icons, Sir Elton John. Performing a musical tribute to Sir Elton not only affords Steve the chance to showcase his own piano playing, but also means he can bring to the stage that sense of fun and entertainment that Sir Elton emulates in abundance!

Shows can be booked either as a solo act (with or without tracks) or with a variety of band options – anything from a 3 piece to a 12 piece band, to include a 4 piece horn section: Trumpet, Trombone, Tenor & Alto Saxes.
