Talent Biography

Modern violinist Yoomia has been quoted as the "Rock Star Violinist," captivating audiences worldwide with her electrifying performances. She has shared the stage with music legends such as Michael Bolton, Florence and the Machine, Il Divo, and Olivia Newton-John. Her remarkable career has taken her to over 70 countries, performing at some of the world’s most iconic venues, including New York’s St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Montreal’s Notre-Dame Basilica, the Sydney Opera House, and Melbourne’s MCG.

Renowned for her dynamic stage presence, Yoomia has also delivered show-stopping performances at major events, including a sold-out game for the All Blacks in front of 20,000 spectators. With a unique blend of classical artistry and contemporary edge, Yoomia continues to redefine the violin experience, pushing musical boundaries and leaving audiences spellbound wherever she performs.

Beyond the stage, Yoomia is passionate about education, serving as a lecturer at the University of Canterbury from 2014 to 2022. She also brings a wealth of business expertise, holding postgraduate studies in business management and experience as a Brand Manager for Dolce & Gabbana. Since 2019, she has been working as a talent agent, recruiting and supporting artists.

An adventurer at heart, Yoomia has cycled from the UK to Prague, helped build an animal sanctuary in the Amazon, and even earned her divemaster certification in the Caribbean. Whether through music or exploration, she is always seeking new ways to connect, inspire, and push boundaries.
