Talent Biography

Donnie Kehr is an American actor, singer-songwriter and musician. He co-founded the band Urgent on EMI-Manhattan Records and reached billboards top 100 with the album Cast the First Stone which sold over 450 thousand copies. Donnie’s voice is featured on two Grammy Award winning albums: The Who's 'Tommy’ produced by Pete Townshend & Sir George Martin, and Jersey Boys produced by Bob Gaudio. Currently Donnie has released a new album entitled Beautiful Strange on RoB / jazzheads. Now available on all digital platforms.

As an actor, He originated roles in Jersey Boys, Billy Elliot, The Who’s Tommy, and many others. His film credits include Jersey Boys directed by Clint Eastwood, Oliver Stone’s Wall Street, Chaplin with Robert Downey Jr and others. He has been seen on TV in House of Cards, Inventing Anna, Gotham, Quantico, Tales of The City, Z-The Beginning of Everything and performed on the Tonight Show, David Letterman, Good Morning America, and the Oscars.

Donnie’s other creative outlet is Directing and Producing with his non-profit, The PATH Fund that raises funding for arts education, his credits include the annual "Rockers on Broadway" Benefit Concert Series, The 15th Anniversary Reunion Concert of The Who's Tommy, and the opening ceremonies for the 2009 Maccabi Games at Madison Square Garden. In 2013 he received a Best Director of a musical nomination at The Midtown International Theatre Festival. Additionally, he is proud to be the Creator and Executive Producer of The Greatest Piano Men.
