Talent Biography

Multiple award winner, Dimitris Dekavallas, has already established himself as one of the most talented guitarists of his age. Much in demand as a soloist worldwide, Dimitris has been performing since the age of 9. Since graduating from the Royal Academy of Music in London, he has given recitals and has toured throughout the UK, USA, Germany, United Arab Emirates, China, Spain, Italy, Romania, Greece, Egypt, Portugal, Japan, Mexico, Chile and others.

Dimitris has appeared as a soloist with many international major orchestras such as Royal Philharmonic, BBC concert orchestra, Reinisch Philharmonie and others. He has given solo recitals in many prestigious concert halls such as the Carnegie Hall (New York), Royal Albert Hall (London), Wigmore Hall (London), the Wales Millenium Centre (Cardiff), the South- bank Centre, Concertgebouw (Amsterdam). Most recently Dimitris gave a private recital at Lambeth Palace for the Pope Benedict XVI and the Archbishop of Canterbury. He has also performed for the British Royal Family. Dimitris has released four albums.
