Talent Biography

Brendan Dooley is one of the World's Top Young Magicians.

Described by The Press as “A New Generation Of Talent Already Snapping The Heels Of Established Acts” he combines his skillset of world-class and never before seen magic with quick wit comedy, insane mind-reading, cheeky pickpocketing and plenty of audience participation to create the ultimate entertainment experience that has made him an audience favourite worldwide!

Brendan constantly travels appearing at events as a featured performer, MC or speaker on luxury cruise ships, at corporate events, conferences, festivals, private events and on touring production shows with his appearances occurring throughout New Zealand, Australia, Asia and the USA.

On top of hundreds of live appearances under his belt, Brendan has been awarded as “NZ’s Top Comedy Magician” being the youngest ever recipient, starred on the world’s longest-running magic show for the past 5 years and headlined at the prestigious “World Famous Magic Castle” in Hollywood, California with a highly acclaimed 30 show run.

Most recently Brendan used his skills in a different way and was a writer, consultant and feature role for the hit TV series "You've Been Scammed By Nigel Latta" where he teamed up with famous clinical psychologist Nigel Latta to show how scammers can easily exploit people using our humain traits and how viewers can better protect themselves.

Close Up Show - 30 Mins

Join Brendan at the card table for an up close and personal experience of his world class magic! Providing everyone with a front row seat on the action as they get to see incredible sleight of hand up close along with experiencing phenomenal moments in their minds and their own hands!

Memory Hacker Workshop - 45 Mins

After Brendan demonstrating his memory abilities in his show, he is always asked if he has a photographic memory... He does not!

In this lighthearted and engaging session, Brendan shares some of the practical methods he has studied and refined to be able to improve your memory. People will immediately walk away with the tools to be able to memorise more effectively everything from banks of information for their general lives or trivia like phone numbers, passwords, dates, "to do" lists and most importantly people's names!

Beat The Cheat! - Scam and Bar Bets Workshop

Living in a world running a million miles an hour... the one thing that will always stay constant is that there is always someone trying to make a quick buck!

In this session, Brendan pulls back the curtain on the world of scams, everything from a street con or game like the three card monte or shell game and the online scams that are running rampant more than ever. Brendan shares the psychology of how and why they work and how we can be more protected.

Brendan was a writer and consultant for the hit TV series "You've Been Scammed By Nigel Latta" and he will share his experience working on the show sharing people's stories but also talking about the hidden camera scams and experiments he executed. On top of this there will still be plenty of magic and laughs along the way, including a live demo of the three shell game and teaching some incredible and easy to do bar bets and tricks so guests can blow their friends and families minds along with winning a free drink or two!
